15 Feb 10 Must Haves in Every Bathroom
We’ve worked in a lot of bathrooms over the years and in doing so we’ve learnt all the things that should be included. Here is our quick guide to the top 10 things every bathroom should have:
Bathrooms are for washing and grooming and it goes without saying that you need to be able to see yourself in order to do this!
Flushing every bit of waste down the toilet in a bathroom is a no no. Both for environmental reasons and for practical reasons. Bulky waster can block waste pipes and lead to having to call out expensive drain unblockers.
Natural Hand Soap
Using a natural hand soap means you are putting the best quality products on your skin and avoiding things like palm oil which can have a negative environmental impact.
2 each: Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths
There’s nothing worse than stepping out of the shower or bath to find your towel has vanished! A generous allocation of bath towels, hand towels and washcloths means you’ll never be caught off guard!
Non-skid bath mat
Wet floors can be a slip hazard, particularly for the elderly or infirm. Non slip bath mats are a simple fix but can help prevent nasty accidents.
Dental hygiene is important and keeping your toothbrush in a clean environment is a must.
Over-the-door and/or wall hooks
Having somewhere to hang towels or bathrobes is essential. Over the door hooks like these ones from Ikea are very cost effective and highly practical. And don’t look out of place.
Extra toilet paper
We’ve all heard the jokes about toilet paper shortages during Covid. The risk is real. Keep a sufficient supply for the utmost peace of mind.
Toilet paper storage
Ok so you’ve stocked up on toilet paper – but a tower of it in the corner of the bathroom isn’t the look that most people want. Baskets or cupboard units are the places you need to tuck these away.
Toilet brush & container
Skids do happen along the way, so having a toilet brush to hand to quickly keep the bowl clean is essential!
So there you have our list of 10 Must Haves in Every Bathroom. What would you consider to be a must have?
