So as we finalise the last few jobs for 2021 we look back on another crazy year. With more lockdowns but still massive demand for our Bathroom Install Expertise it has been challenging but we are grateful to our team for rising to the challenge. We have completed some fantastic projects for our clients of which we are truly proud. Our clients have been amazing bearing with us as restrictions slowed down our projects and pushed out timelines. We are grateful to have a very full order book heading in to 2022. Here are some highlight pictures of jobs we have completed this year.   As always if you are planning on renovating your bathroom then please do get in touch with the Bathroom Install Experts. We won't be the cheapest, and we can't start next week, but we will deliver you a high quality bathroom that will have...

Over recent months we have renovated quite a lot of bathrooms in apartments and smaller properties. The remit here is often the same, to maximise the usable space in the bathroom or wet room. This makes a lot of sense as you don't want to feel hemmed in. One of the best ways we have found to do this is by installing a space saving sliding door. This is a door that rather than opening into the room, taking up valuable space, instead runs parallel with the wall. A space saving sliding door can be mounted on the outside of the room. This means it takes no space at all from the bathroom. Here are some examples of recent space saving sliding doors that we have installed: In this example the door was mounted inside of the bathroom, the wall was adjusted to accommodate the sliding mechanism. For this...

We seem to be receiving an ever increasing amount of emails from people looking for help with leaking wet rooms. Recently we also heard from someone who we had quoted for installing a wet room a few years ago who decided to go with a cheaper competitors quote. It is something that pains us to see as there are so many rogue traders out there, promising wet rooms at bargain prices that simply aren't fit for purpose. A lot of them seem to get away with it because even a poorly fitted wet room can typically stay watertight for 1 to 2 years, long enough for the home owner to think they got a bargain, and also long enough for the rogue trader to be long gone. What a lot of people don't realise is that tile and grout that are used to finish most bathrooms is...

A feature wall can be a great way of creating a wow factor in a bathroom or wet room. Even if space is tight a feature wall can be a way to make the most of your space. We recently completed this project of a en-suite for our client’s in Woodstown and this one certainly has the wow factor with that stunning feature wall to give this bathroom that extra pop of colour. Every inch of this room was maximised from removing the hot-press which took up half of the new walk in shower area. We did this by installing a combi boiler in the utility room freeing up the space to create a new big walk in shower. We also installed a sliding door once more to maximise the use of the room. All of the sanitary ware was supplied by Davies Bathrooms and all the tiles...

So you might be wondering what is the best way t0 clean bathroom tiles and grout? First of all the best way to cure dirty tile and grout is to protect it so that you don't get the issue in the first place. Bathroom tile and grout stains have a few common causes, starting with mould or mildew. These organic stains thrive in the damp corners of a bathroom shower and the porous, concrete-based grouts that are commonly found in between bathroom tiles. Now lets assume its too late for that and you already have dirty tiles and grout. In order to clean the grout and tiles in your bathroom the the first step is to determine what materials you are dealing with. What are your tiles and grout made from? There isn't a one size fits all with cleaning materials so doing your homework with...

We are really pleased with how we were able to transform this old bathroom into a modern high end wet room. As you can see the old bathroom was looking tired and felt cold and unwelcoming. Our team was able to work its magic and completely transform the space, so much so that the home owners really didn't recognise it! All sanitary ware, Wet room materials and tiles were purchased in Davies bathrooms. The Genesis tiles colour matching trims were purchased from Tech Tiles Ireland and all put together by our amazing team at Bespoke bathrooms.   If you have a bathroom that has seen better days then why not take the first step to making the transformation? Simply contact us and we will guide you through the whole process....

Way back in 2016 we completed a bathroom for a client on Raheny. It is testament to the work of our team that this same client asked us to come back and renovate 2 further bathrooms in their home. It's always nice to be asked back and to give our clients the complete set! All of the sanitary ware for both of these bathrooms is supplied by Tilestyle This bathroom is a family bathroom and includes a luxurious bathtub and a shower. The high quality finish is evident. Low level led lighting, plus lighting around the mirror really make this bathroom full of atmosphere, especially at night time!   The 3rd bathroom we completed in this house incorporated this beautiful navy tiles. The shine from them is maximised again by the use for subtle built in lighting.                         If you have more than one bathroom in your home that needs upgrading then...

We are all aware that the actions we take in our day to day life add up to have a big impact on our planet. Often we can feel helpless that there isn't much we can do at a personal level to make a difference. However if we all make some small changes it will add up to something significant. We've rounded up 7 Ways to Make your Bathroom More Eco Friendly Reduce shower times This is something you can do immediately. A 10-minute shower with a standard shower head uses about 300 litres of water and is responsible for producing about 2kg of CO2. If you can cut that time in half - you automatically cut your CO2 use in half. If you shower every day and cut a 10 minute shower to 5 minutes that's 365kg of CO2 you are saving over the year. And...

The days of the basic three-piece combination of shower set, basic toilet and a simple basin to carry out your daily regime are long gone. The bathroom in many homes has evolved from a purely functional room to an spa like area for self-care. In the past bathrooms were purely about functionality. Today's customers are more discerning and are looking for their bathroom to make a statement and have some of that wow factor. The rise of social media and the accessibility of far more examples of peoples homes all adds fuel to this fire. Even though bathrooms are small rooms compared to other spaces in a home they can quickly present big problems if they aren't designed correctly. It is important to look at the finer details such as lighting, flooring finishes and storage, and to make sure measurements are done right. Consideration needs to be given...
