Downstairs Toilet Ideas

A downstairs toilet can be a space in your home that you can have a bit of fun decorating. It doesn’t need to necessarily be in keeping with the rest of your home. It is clearly a functional space but you can make it a bit quirky and show off your sense of fun. Sometimes it can be enough just to repaint or to add some vibrant wallpaper to brighten things up.

Other times is can take a bit more work to completely transform this small space.

At Bespoke Bathrooms we often give our clients downstairs bathrooms an overhaul whilst we are in our clients homes installing main bathrooms. Here are some downstairs toilet ideas to get you thinking.

Go for bold flooring

In this example our client went for a bold patterned tile floor. This contrasted with the white subway tiles on the wall. The cistern was built in to the wall to maximise space.

Keep It Classic

For this downstairs toilet our client wanted paneling to give a luxury feel to the space. LED lighting on the mirror also added some wow factor.

Go retro

For this downstairs bathroom project the client asked us to incorporate a retro style high level toilet cistern. This makes sure that the smallest room in the house is still one of the grandest! The round window with the deep recess also adds some unique detail.

If your downstairs toilet is looking a bit tired then we’d be happy to discuss upgrading it for you. It may not be the most important room in the house but you can make it stand out.
