This was a wet room project in an apartment in Poolbeg Street, Dublin 2. We were contacted by Mary the landlord who needed the work completed on a specific date range whilst her tenants were on holiday, so that there would be minimal disruption for them. The old wet room was leaking, and was poorly designed with a large 10″ step into it, making it awkward and dangerous. We were able to maximise the space by changing the layout, which resulted in much lower step. Because the apartment was not on the ground floor and had concrete floors, this was the only way to do it as you can’t dig mass concrete (can be done in ground floor).
The resulting wet room has a much more modern design and both Mary and her tenants are delighted with it.
