15 Nov Your Deluxe Bathroom: An Oasis Of Calm Whatever Your Taste
Every person has a different idea of what a ‘deluxe bathroom’ should look like; from copper faucets and Greek deities on the walls to a sleeker, minimalist look, our bathroom design taste is as different to each others’ as our taste in beverages, which is the entire point. Your home should be a reflection of who are and the bathroom, a place of relaxation, whatever your tastes. Read on to find out about a few of the great features that make up a deluxe bathroom.
A Standalone Bath Can Solve All Your Problems
Obviously this isn’t true, but it might help you feel better after a long, hard day in the office. A nice, hot soak in a gorgeous Victorian style bath might take your fancy. Or if baths aren’t your thing, maybe a refreshing shower under a large waterfall shower head will help put a spring in your step. Other things to consider when thinking about deluxe bathrooms are:
-
Tiles – these can make or break a bathroom. It’s good to have something a bit different to everyone else, but you don’t want a tile that’s going to look dated after a year. There are so many gorgeous tile designs out there these days, that you never have to go for beige again (unless beige is your thing of course).
-
Wall-hung or standalone sinks. There are some really beautiful wall hung sinks on offer, which add a seamless look to bathroom spaces, from the sleek designs of Keuco to the more traditional designs of Villeroy and Boch. Whatever taste you have, whether contemporary, or traditional to uber-modern, there is sure to be something out there to cater for you.
-
Toilets – no longer confined to the shack at the bottom of the garden, toilets are a very important part of the bathroom and many people are prepared to spend good money for good quality. From rimless and wall-hung to self-cleaning and even toilets with a warming bidet seat, there are a huge variety of toilets for deluxe bathrooms to choose from.
