As we emerge from the Covid pandemic it seems that there are other challenges out there now. That's life really isn't it one set of challenges after another?! Even more so it seems when you are running a business. Due to Covid we have built up a backlog of work. We are steadily working through client jobs in order. One thing we don't do is compromise on quality. Our team produces the highest quality work and that does take time. What this means is that typically there is a delay of 4-6 months between initial conversations with clients and getting a completed bathroom. This is now starting to present other challenges. So as we finalise the last few jobs for 2021 we look back on another crazy year. With more lockdowns but still massive demand for our Bathroom Install Expertise it has been challenging but we are grateful to our team for rising to the challenge. Over recent months we have renovated quite a lot of bathrooms in apartments and smaller properties. The remit here is often the same, to maximise the usable space in the bathroom or wet room. This makes a lot of sense as you don't want to feel hemmed in. One of the best ways we have found to do this is by installing a space saving sliding door. This is a door that rather than opening into the room, taking up valuable space, instead runs parallel with the wall. A space saving sliding door can be mounted on the outside of the room. This means it takes no space at all from the bathroom. We seem to be receiving an ever increasing amount of emails from people looking for help with leaking wet rooms. Recently we also heard from someone who we had quoted for installing a wet room a few years ago who decided to go with a cheaper competitors quote. It is something that pains us to see as there are so many rogue traders out there, promising wet rooms at bargain prices that simply aren't fit for purpose. A feature wall can be a great way of creating a wow factor in a bathroom or wet room. Even if space is tight a feature wall can be a way to make the most of your space. We recently completed this project of a en-suite for our client’s in Woodstown and this one certainly has the wow factor with that stunning feature wall to give this bathroom that extra pop of colour. Every inch of this room was maximised from removing the hot-press which took up half of the new walk in shower area.
